About Us

We are co-authors and longtime friends with the love of all and any romance novels. In February of 2022 we decided to start a Podcast called WhatTheRomance where we talk about all romance/smutt books we have read. Not to mention the special guest Authors we have had including Nicole Dykes (Summer of Sterling series and On The Track series etc.), Kathryn Andrews (Starving for Southern, Hale Brothers series, Chasing Clouds, Hats off to Love etc.), Mickey Miller (Brewer Brothers series, Blackwell Series, and multiple standalones such as Afternoon Delights and The Substitute, and JRose author of The Blackwood Institute Series and Sabre Academy series etc.) with more to come.

And because of our love for reading and writing we decided to write our very own book! Now a year later we are finished and ready to grace everyone with what we have written!

About Ragain

Ragain was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. She grew up being an avid traveler. Ragain has lived in five different states Arizona, New Mexico, Illinois, Montana and currently resides in North Dakota. Where she is a full-time mommy to a beautiful baby boy. Her love for writing started at a young age always keeping a journal close to her in hopes of one day writing a book of her own.

In 2007 she lived her very own best friends to lovers romance novel with a man that would one day be her husband.

Ragain has always been a big reader (her first book starting with Water for Elephants) but her love for angsty romance didn’t really jump start until she picked up Calendar Girl by Audry Carlan and the rest from there is history. She is proud to be an Endo warrior! Loving to bring awareness to women all over. Her biggest goal in life is to own a bookstore cafe that holds all the greatest romance books.

About Renee

Renee was born and raised in Southern Arizona, Her love for reading was gifted to her by her mother who loves to read author Danielle Steele. Seeing this made her want to read those books when she grew up.

Throughout high school she always looked forward to English class where she would create her own world in her notebook when she was supposed to be taking notes. Her love for Smutt/romance books began was when she read The Sea Breeze series by Abbi Glines, it was love at first read for her.

She has followed in her nanas (RN) and mothers (CMA) footsteps working in the medical field as a medical assistant. Her biggest goal in life is to become a bestselling author with her best friend Ragain.
